Two women, one from Westport, one from Norwalk, brought along a 12-year-old girl to help shoplift Sunday from Kohl's store on Connecticut Avenue, Norwalk police said.

The women -- Raisa Tarabuzan, 61, of Strawberry Hill Avenue in Norwalk and another who has been cleared of charges, removed tags from items while they were in dressing rooms at Kohl's, 500 Connecticut Ave. With them was a 12-year-old girl.

All three females walked past the registers and were just about to walk out of the building when a store detective stopped them and asked them to remain in the store.

Each of the three had stolen items on them. The total value of the items was $597.95.

Each of the women was charged with fifth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny and risk of injury to a minor. Each was initially held on $1,500 bond and was scheduled to appear Sept. 9 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
