So when the 27-year-old Norwalk man was fired on Monday and his statement came to the attention of authorities, at 9:47 p.m. that day he was arrested on charges of threatening and breach of peace, according to state police.

Anello, of Thistle Road, was a probationary corrections officer at Bridgeport Correctional Center, the Connecticut Post reported.

Initially set at $10,000, according to Troop G state police who arrested him, his bond was later reduced to a promise to appear in court, according to the Connecticut Judicial Branch website.
