Laurel Athletic Club was originally Laura Street Giants, which was founded in 1919 to allow local sports teams toMore compete against each other. The club expanded and moved to its current location, where it supports Little League and other children's sports, as well as softball and volleyball for men and women, bocce and dart competitions. Fund-raising for charities is an important part of its efforts.
