Located on a quiet stretch of South Main Street, Restaurante Salvadoreno's brightly-painted exterior loudly announces its presence to passersby. From the signage, which covers the entire length of the building, one might expect this would be a large and boisterous establishment. But while the jukebox may get loud on any given night, this is actually an intimate, little spot, occupying a small, diner-shaped building, with a bar on one wall and a few tables on the other. It is only open for dinner seven days a week and features traditional Salvadoran and other Latin American dishes.
