Shawn Baker of Black Bear Saloon came up with the idea after attending similar events in New York City.

“I just love downtown South Norwalk and want to see more people introduced to the bars/restaurants and nightlife that it has to offer,” Baker said in a release.

“As far as I know it is the first event of its kind," Baker added. "However, I do hope that in the future we can do a number of these types of events in SoNo because it is set up perfectly for this kind of cross-promotional event.”
