Join Fodor Farm along with the Norwalk Preservation Trust and Norwalk's Dept. of Recreation and Parks in celebrating an abundant growing season and the ongoing preservation and development of Fodor Farm and its community gardens.
The event will feature food prepared by Fat Cat Pie Co. and include ingredients grown in the gardens. They'll be joined this year for the first time by Jay McKinney of Durty Jerk Sauce.
New this year is the "wine trail" sponsored by Fountainhead Wines and Distillations. The more you stroll about, the more you'll discover. It should prove to be a great way to find some new selections for your own table while learning more about the farm.
This is the second year in a row that Fat Cat Pie and Fountainhead have donated all food, wine, and staff time for the event. Also returning for your listening pleasure is the Chester Ludlow Trio and its leader Dan Bonebrake.
Fodor Farm's fundraiser is Sunday, September 29, 2012, 3:00pm-6:00pm, at Fodor Farm on 328 Flax Hill Rd. at the intersection with Scribner Ave. in Norwalk. Adults only. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available at the door. Click here for tickets.
