Book & A Movie: "Murder on the Orient Express"

Decipher the clues in Agatha Christie's popular whodunit novel, Murder on the Orient Expresswith the famous fictional sleuth, Hercule Poirot, as he tackles a challenging mystery amongst a cast of unlikely characters on the world's luxurious passenger train. 

The 1974 movie, 127 minutes, starring Lauren Bacall, Sean Connery, Ingrid Bergman, Albert Finney, Vanessa Redgrave, Michael York, Jacqueline Bisset and others, will follow the book discussion. The movie was nominated for 6 Academy Awards and Ms. Bergman won an Oscar for best supporting actress.

Those who want to discuss the book are invited to stay to view the movie and those who only want to view the movie are welcome to do so. Multiple copies of the book are available at the South Norwalk Branch Library. Refreshments will be served.
