  • Tuesday is Election Day. Don't forget (as if all those signs would let you).
  • "The YWCA Darien/Norwalk is pleased to announce 15th annual Christmas Boutique at the Piedmont Club in Darien.  The Boutique will be open on Wednesday, Nov. 6 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 to 9 p.m.; and Thursday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m." -- from a news release sent out by the YW.
  • "Get ready for the Ox Ridge Fall Book Fair Fundraiser starting on Wednesday, Nov. 6.  The Book Fair will be open for business November 6th from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; [Thursday] Nov. 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and [Friday] Nov. 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.  We will have an amazing selection of books, educational materials and games available for everyone in your family.  Get a jump on your holiday shopping and support a great cause!" -- from an announcement sent out by the Ox Ridge School Parent Teacher Organization
  • Music Together of Fairfield County is hosting a free music together trial class at the Chelsea Piers CT Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. The program provides music and movement classes for children ages newborn through 5 years of age. Check here for more info and RSVP details.
  • Head to the Avon Theater in Stamford Thursday for their next Cult Classics installment featuring a screening of Fight Club. The newly-restored digital presentation kicks off at 9 p.m. Check here for ticket prices.
  • Enjoy "a sampling of local culinary delights" on Thursday from several area restaurants at Norwalk Education Foundation's Taste for Education.
