A national emergency appeal for blood donors has been announced by the American Red Cross. Please call 1-800-Red Cross to schedule your appointment.

• With so many regular donors expected to take extended vacations, donations could be as much as 24,000 fewer during the Independence Day week than a typical week in June.

• With this combination of current and projected lower donations, we issued an emergency appeal to ensure no patient would have to go without the blood products they need.
• There is simply no substitute for blood, and patients are depending on us.  Remember, every blood donation can help save more than one life.
