Because of Saturday's forecast, which calls for the possibility of snow, the FCIAC has pushed back the start of the field hockey playoffs for 24 hours. The quarterfinals now will be played on Sunday at McMahon. Here is the revised scheduled:

No. 9 Westhill (5-7-1-0) vs. No. 1 Darien (13-0-0-0), 7 p.m.
The semifinals are set for Wednesday at 5 and 7 p.m. with the highest remaining seed playing in the second game. The finals are back at McMahon on Friday at 4 p.m.
The Norwalk football team showed it is for real last week with a 27-12 victory at Ridgefield. Now, the Bears (5-1) hope to avoid a letdown when they host Harding on Saturday (1 p.m.)
Quarterback Delshawn Wilson passed for two touchdowns and also rushed for a score against Ridgefield as the Tigers stayed in the state playoff mix in Class LL.
Norwalk's defense also made life miserable for Ridgefield quarterback Connor Rowe, sacking him eight times. Rowe, who has had success running Ridgefield's option offense, was held to minus-yards rushing.
Harding (2-4) is coming off a 12-8 win over Bassick and already has matched last season's win total (2-8).
The Presidents played the game against Bassick without coach James Morris, who was suspended for "personal reasons", according to Bridgeport citywide athletic director Jim Denton.
Norwalk is solidly in seventh in this week's CIAC Class LL state rankings (the top eight make the playoffs).
While the Bears look to stay in the state playoff picture, McMahon goes for its third straight win at Ridgefield on Friday (7 p.m.).
The Senators (3-3) won their second straight game last week with a 41-14 win over Ludlowe as running back Chris Jerome put on a show in the first half.
Jerome rushed for three touchdowns and 130 yards on just five carries -- in the first half - as the Senators built a 35-0 lead at the intermission.
