Norwalk boys soccer team ranked fourth
The Norwalk boys soccer team has climbed to fourth in the latest Connecticut Soccer Coaches' Association large school poll and the Bears played like on Monday night with a convincing 5-0 win over No. 9 Darien
Norwalk improved to 10-1-1 and leaped over Darien (9-2-2) for the FCIAC's best record with 31 points, two more than the Blue Wave.
No. 5 Staples (7-1-4, tied with Simsbury) and No. 7 Trumbull (8-1-2, tied with Fairfield Prep).
South Windsor (9-0-0) climbed from No. 2 to take over the top spot while Pomperaug (10-0-1) slipped one notch to second.
Wethersfield (9-1-0) is third, followed by Norwalk, Simsbury (8-1-2), Staples, Trumbull, Fairfield Prep (8-0-4), Darien and Farmington (6-1-3).
