Delshawn Wilson throws two touchdown passes as Bears improve to 2-0 for first time since 1999
It's early in the season, but first-year Norwalk football coach Sean Ireland has taken the Bears to a place they haven't been in a decade.
Senior quarterback Delshawn Wilson accounted for three touchdowns Saturday as Norwalk defeated Stamford 25-12 at home.
With the victory,the Bears improved to 2-0 for the first time since 1999. Stamford, which opened with a 43-0 victory over Harding, dropped to 1-1.

In the first quarter, Wilson scored on a 4-yard TD run, then tossed an 82-yard TD strike to Kenny Francois in the second period to give Norwalk a 12-0 halftime lead.
Johnny Anzalone added a 1-yard TD run in the third quarter before Stamford (1-1) got on the board on Bryan Boderick's 17-yard TD pass to Nick Palumbo.

Norwalk's answered on Wilson's 32-yard TD toss to Derek Edwards in the fourth quarter. Stamford completed the scoring on Boderick's 9-yard TD scamper.

to 2-0 for the first time since 1999 by defeating Stamford 25-12 on Saturday
evening at Sam Testa Field. Wilson also intercepted a pass for the Bears, who
shut down Stamford's passing attack. The Black Knights fell to 1-1 overall.
