The Golden Age of Radio & Television

The South Norwalk Branch Library invites the public to join media enthusiast Richard Knox, for a look back at The Golden Age of Radio and Television.  This nostalgia-filled program will examine a wide range of popular radio and television shows and personalities, focusing primarily on the years 1935 - 1965, a truly creative era in the arts.  In addition to having an interactive quiz on television and radio theme songs, Knox will use a variety of audio and video clips for participants to relive and/or discuss: 

·         Classic Comedy and Variety Shows Spanning Both Media;

·         Newscasters and Game Show Hosts;

·         Commercials for Products No Longer in Existence;

·         Famous Mystery and Western Programs.

This program will be held in the Friends of the Norwalk Public Library Community Room. The program is free and open to the public.
