2011 Norwalk Boat Show Makes A Splash September 22-25

36th Annual Show Welcomes Boating and Sailing Enthusiasts to the Water with Nautical Fun for the Entire Family, Hands-On Education and Super ‘Sails’ on the Newest Boats and Accessories. Cruise to the Norwalk Cove Marina on Long Island Sound to see and shop the best in boating and stay “current” on must-have gadgets and gear at the northeast’s premier in-water boat show. Visitors can find some of the best deals of the season on hundreds of luxury motor and sailing yachts, sport fishers, performance boats, and sailboats plus the largest selection of marine accessories during four days of family fun on the water.

 

The 2011 Norwalk Boat Show features attractions for every on-the-water enthusiast. New this year, a special SailFest component of the show will feature the Latitudes & Attitudes Cruiser’s Bash; an exclusive chance to meet seventeen-year-old Abby Sunderland, who set sail in an attempt to become the youngest solo sailor to circumnavigate the globe; and other attractions for sailors of all skill levels. Other features include the Affordability Pavilion showcasing boats that can be financed for under $250 per month; the popular Kids’ Cove, where junior boaters discover the chance to get their feet wet paddle boating on the mini-lake; daily boating courses on land and in-water; free powerboat and sail rides along the Long Island Sound; and more!
