Norwalk Early Childhood Council Receives Grants Totaling $66,500

Formed in 2007 the Norwalk Early Childhood Council works with about 50 pre-school providers throughout Norwalk to improve early care and education for the City's youngest residents.

The Norwalk Early Childhood Council has reportedly received a $40,000 grant from the William Caspar Graustein Memorial Fund/Children’s Fund of Connecticut and a $26,500 grant from the United Way of Coastal Fairfield County for . Both organizations are consistent supporters of the Council.

Formed in 2007, the Norwalk Early Childhood Council works with about 50 pre-school providers throughout Norwalk to . Comprised of educators, health service organizations and family resource centers, among other community organizations, the Council forms a support system to ensure as many children as possible get a good pre-school experience.
