Norwalk Common Council Approves Extra $1.8M For Schools

's on Tuesday reportedly approved $1.8 million to help off-set deep cuts to next year's school budget that would have resulted in teacher layoffs, who had earlier this month

The resolution to approve the extra funding — a compromise on an — includes language asking all "stakeholders" in the city's public school system to to change the state's Education Cost Sharing formula, in order to bring more state aid to the City, according to a report in The Hour of Norwalk.
