Weather Frightful? It May Impact School Calendar in Norwalk

Between Superstorm Sandy and snowstorms last year, school districts around Fairfield County were forced to adjust calendars to compensate for Mother Nature.

According to the district calendar,  June 12 is tentatively the last day of for Norwalk Public Schools, unless make-up days are required.

If by November 19 the district has lost five days, due to weather the February vacation (two days) will be lost and three days will be added at the end of the school calendar - Last day of school Tuesday, June 17.

If there are two additional snow days - add to the end of school calendar year – Last day of school will be Thursday, June 19.

If there are three additional days – add to end of school calendar year – Last day of school will be Tuesday, June 24.
