The Friends of the Norwalk Islands is offering Nature Photography for Kids at Calf Pasture Beach for children 9-13 year olds. The two-day workshop runs weekly between July 10 and August 16, on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Using digital cameras, kids will explore the wildlife, plants and habitats of Calf Pasture Beach and Taylor Farm. The programs will connect kids with nature and teach them about the Norwalk Islands and the importance of protecting this local treasure.
The weekly session costs $65 and includes use of camera and CD of photos.
