School will not be in session on Wednesday. The after effects from Hurricane Irene has forced officials to delay the start of the school year in Norwalk.
According to the Norwalk Public Schools web site:
The first day of school for students will not be on August 31, 2011 as originally scheduled. A decision about the opening of school for students will be made based on the districts’ readiness and safety conditions.
