Candlelight 2013: Presented by Norwalk High School Music Dept.

"Candlelight" began in Norwalk in the 1930s and has been performed every year, with the exception of two years during World War II, when lights-out regulations prevented it from being performed.

Norwalk High School’s Music Department will present Candlelight 2013, taking place at Norwalk High School’s, Albert Horne Memorial Auditorium on December 16, 17, and 18. The concert starts at 8:00p.m. and last just over an hour.

"Candlelight" is the oldest high school winter concert in New England. It began in Norwalk in the 1930s and has been performed every year, with the exception of two years during World War II, when lights-out regulations prevented it from being performed.

"Candlelight" includes performances from all 600+ Norwalk High School music students including the orchestra, chorus, and band.

Additional parking is available at Andrews Field and Naramake for this event. Please plan accordingly to make sure you are on time. The doors will be closed to admission at 7:50 p.m.
