Visions for Vacancies: 185 East Ave.

We examine buildings in the Norwalk community not living up to their full potential to see what the community would like to see spring up there.

Vacant buildings are a problem for a community. Patch wants to know what you think the solution can be.

In our occasional series Visions for Vacancies we’ll look at vacant businesses and buildings in Norwalk and surrounding areas to see what our readers want to see move into their community.

Today, we’re looking at 185 East Ave., at the intersection of Olmstead Place. It sits just off I-95 Exit 16 on a busy thoroughfare through the heart of East Norwalk.

Norwalk City Hall is nearby, just on the other side of I-95, and there are a number of businesses in the immediate area, including gas stations and drug stores.
