Small Electrical Fire Empties City Hall
Firefighters find fire self-extinguished and caused little damage.
City Hall was evacuated for about 20 minutes Tuesday afternoon after an automatic alarm indicated there was a fire on the roof.
Firefighters found a fire had occurred in an electric panel in the building's penthouse, but went out before they arrived. The panel provides electric service to the ventillation system.
Damage was confined to the panel, fire officials said.
