Norwalk to Hold Tax Sale in July
Norwalk properties and other assets (boats, cars, etc.) on which more than $25,000 in back taxes are owed — or on which taxes have been owed for three or more years — will be auctioned off.

As per an announcement in The Hour of Norwalk, properties and other assets (boats, cars, etc.) on which more than $25,000 in back taxes are owed — or on which taxes have been owed for three or more years — will be auctioned to the highest bidder. The baseline bid for each property or asset will be the taxes owed on it.
The last time Norwalk held a tax sale was July 2010. That sale generated more than $5.2 million in tax revenue, according to the report.
