LIEBERMAN: The senator released a statement in response to an Al Qaeda video calling upon the “covert Mujahidin” to commit “electronic jihad.”

“This is the clearest evidence we’ve seen that Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups want to attack the cyber systems of our critical infrastructure,” he said. “Congress needs to act now to protect the American public from a possible devastating attack on our electric grid, water delivery systems, or financial networks, for example."

HIMES: The congressman will join StartUp Connecticut and local business owners for a roundtable discussion on entrepreneurship at the Stamford Innovation Center on Thursday, May 24. Himes will provide an overview of the recently enacted Jumpstart Our Business Start-Ups (JOBS) Act and experts from the investment community will discuss various avenues to secure capital investment for growing companies. Participants will span a wide range of industries, including technology, manufacturing and communications.
