Local Liquor Store Pays Fine, License Suspended

State commission hands down fine.

The state of Connecticut's Department of Consumer Protection Liquor Control Commission announced Monday that Budget Liquor Shop on 542 West Avenue in Norwalk has paid a fine of $800.00 and will have it's license suspended onf February 14-16.

According to the the commission, the penalties came as a result of two violations:

  • Sale to minor
  • Prices not posted
