Its Awards Season in Norwalk

Mayor Moccia says he doesn't see major decisions coming up among city boards and commissions this week.

Mayor Richard A. Moccia said Friday in his regular weekly video interview with Norwalk Patch that he doesn't expect any major decisions to be made this week.

That may have been before a special Board of Education meeting was scheduled for tonight at 6:15 p.m. The board has been in intense negotiations with the city school unions on labor contract changes to avoid layoffs.

The meeting takes place in Room A300 on the third floor of City Hall, where the board's regular meetings take place. As of Monday evening, no agenda had been posted for the meeting.
