Kick-Off to Summer Passport Day

The Connecticut Passport Agency, located at 50 Washington Street in Norwalk, is hosting a special passport event on Saturday, June 30, 2012, from 9:00 am-2:00 pm to provide passport information to U.S. citizens and to accept passport applications without an appointment.

On this day, passport applicants can apply for a passport using routine service, with a four- to six-week turnaround, or expedited service with a two- to three-week turnaround. Emergency passport issuance is also available on this day for those traveling in less than two weeks. During such a busy travel season, it is especially vital for international travelers to ensure they have at least six months validity remaining on their existing passports and to check the validity period before traveling.
