Barack Obama Wins Connecticut

Voters in Connecticut on Tuesday cast their ballot for Barack Obama, giving him the state's seven Electoral votes.

Barack Obama won Connecticut’s seven electoral votes on Tuesday, defeating Republican Mitt Romney.

In the 2008 presidential election, the state voted for the Democratic candidate, and since the 1990s has voted for the overall winner of the presidential race 3 out of 5 times.

Romney and Obama did not campaign aggressively in Connecticut. The state has typically been a Democratic stronghold in recent presidential elections.

Sandra-Again I agree completely. The media is abysmal and people need to look at every angle. It's like watching MSNBC and FOX News and trying to find your own middle ground. It's very difficult. We deserve a LOT more respect that we're given by the media. You have a good day as well.

Ok Rita-Because you can see through your computer screen into mine. You're an intolerant person. Plain and simple. Good luck. I'm sure you'll be miserable forever.

Rita-You're laughable. You have NO IDEA who I am. All you know how to do is hurl accusations like a child. Temper temper. I have no reason to defend myself to you. Believe what you like. The FACT is that Americans voted for someone that you obviously don't like. If you think it's the end of the world than so be it. You pout until you get your way. On the other hand I will do nothing of the sort. Sure, I may have to pay a little more in taxes, maybe pay more for my employees healthcare but I'm ok with that. My business is robust enough to not go under because of those things. Is yours? And you're so sad to think that anyone that gets some sort of government assistance is lazy. Get out of Fairfield County every once in a while. Open your eyes for a change. I'd say you might learn something but we both know that's not the case. Good Luck Rita. You're obviously going to need it.

Rita, Among the" 47% of able but lazy with no ambition" people you mention are many disabled military veterans who voluntarily and proudly served our country. Are you saying they don't deserve our assistance in giving them a chance to put their lives back together?Shame on you! As a Vietnam vet,I find your comment quite offensive. You are making a huge mistake by generalizing people in this way.You really need to calm down. The election is over. For your own mental stability you may want to see your doctor about getting a prescription for an anti-anxiety medication.Perhaps some Zanax will do the trick.Good luck to you.God bless our great country, and yes that includes that lazy 47% which you so disdain.
