Two Homes Burglarized, Same Thing Stolen

Both break-ins netted a Nintendo Wii game console plus other items.

A resident of 10 Windward Rd. returned home Tuesday afternoon and found her house in dissaray.

Officers were dispatched to the West Norwalk address at 2:28 p.m. The woman told officers she was uncertain if the front door had been locked.

Taken were a Nintendo Wii game console, two iPod nano portable media players and an 18-inch gold chain with a crucifix.

The woman estimated the value of the stolen items as more than $450.

At 4:29 p.m. a resident of 61 Ferris Ave. reported a burglary.

She said when she returned home she noticed the rear sliding door was open about an inch.

Police said it wasn't until her daughter came home that items were found missing: a Nintendo Wii game console plus a number of game disks and three Pandora bracelets.

The missing items were valued at an estimated $2,450.
