Two Burglaries: One Residential, One Commercial

Norwalk detectives are investigating two apparently unrelated burglaries in which entry was gained by breaking the glass in a door.
Wednesday night officers were called to a residence at 21 Osborn Ave. by the homeowner who returned home from work at around 9 p.m.
Police said the perpetrator got in by breaking the glass in a kitchen door.

The victim reported a laptop computer worth between $800 and $900 was stolen.
Early Thursday morning the owner of Harbor Deli at 50 Water St. reported a burglary.

The glass on a back door was smashed to gain entry and cash was taken from a register.
Police said there were no suspects in either break-in.
