Two Arrested in Pizza Robbery

Norwalk Police arrest two people in connection with pizza robbery

Norwalk Police arrested two people on Monday in connection with the robbery of a pizza delivery man on

Michael Johnson, 27, of 36 Soundview Avenue was charged with second-degree conspiracy to commit robbery, sixth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, second-degree robbery, and sixth-degree larceny. His accomplice, a youthful offender whose name was not released, was charged the same as Johnson.

According to police officials, Johnson allegedly called Speedy's Pizza on October 20 and requested a delivery to 15 Kossuth Street. When the delivery man arrived and opened the door, he was punched in the face by either Johnson or his accomplice. The pizza delivery man then threw the pizzas at the men and fled the scene.

After an investigation, there was a warrant issued for Johnson and he was arrested on December 26 without incident. Bond was set at $50,000. Johnson is due in court on January 4.

Police are investigating other pizza robberies in the area and according to officials, Johnson is believed to be a suspect in those incidents.

Police Searching for Shooting Suspect

Norwalk Police are searching for a gunmen who allegedly shot a 17-year old male on Christmas Eve.

According to the police report,  the victim was approached on Chestnut Street last Saturday and shot by the gunmen on the left-side of his body. The victim recalls that the suspect was wearing red, black, and white sneakers. The victim was taken to Norwalk Hospital where he was treated and released.
