Two Men Accused of Threatening Strip Bar Staff

Earlier they were refused entry after objecting to presenting ID, police said.

Two city men were arrested Sunday night for allegedly brandishing knives while threatening employees of an East Norwalk strip bar.

Police were called to the Office Café at 9:33 p.m. on a report two men ejected from the establishment had returned and were attempting to enter the bar at 201 Liberty Sq.

Police spokeswoman Sgt. Lisa Cotto said management told officers the men had become belligerent when asked to provide ID and were refused entry. Cotto said the two walked away, then returned, pulled out knives and threatened to “cut people up.”
