Suncrest Road Apartment Fire Under Investigation

Saturday's fire at 206 Suncrest Rd. in Norwalk is being investigated by Inspector Luca Feola of the Fire Marshal's office. There were no injuries.

The Norwalk Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 206 Suncrest Rd. on Saturday.  Upon arrival companies reported smoke coming from the rear and second floor of the apartment, according to a statement from Fire Department Deputy Chief, Gino Gatto. 

Companies carried out a coordinated fire attack and ventilation of the first and second floors. The fire was quickly extinguished. No one was home at the time of the fire. 

The occupant and her son arrived home a short time later. The fire is being investigated by Inspector Luca Feola of the Fire Marshal’s office. The alarm time was 12:23pm and there were no injuries.
