Seven People Displaced By Fire On Christmas Eve

Fire breaks out on Christmas Eve, seven people relocated.

The Norwalk Fire Department reponsded quickly to a structure fire on Christmas Eve, but the occupants of the home had to be relocated.

Fire officials received a call at 8:29 p.m. for a reported fire at 11 Robin Square East. Upon arrival, fire crews found a smoke condition on the second floor.  The fire was located in one of the bed rooms on the second floor and was quickly extinguished. 

The owner said he smelled smoke and went upstairs to investigate he saw the fire and shut the bedroom door and called 911.  All occupants were out of the house when the first engine arrived on scene three minutes after being dispatched.  The fire was contained to the one bedroom with smoke and water damage to the other rooms in the house. 
 
Seven occupants of the house were relocated by the American Red Cross.  The investigation is on-going.
