Redding Police Investigate Burglary on Sport Hill Road

Redding Police news, Jan. 17 through Jan. 20.

Redding Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at a Sport Hill Road residence sometime over the weekend.

According to police, someone forced entry to the residence when the home was unoccupied between Jan. 17 and Jan. 19. The burglary was reported on Jan. 20 at 10:56 a.m.

It is believed only electronics were taken from the residence.

“Anybody who saw any suspicious vehicles in that area would be asked to contact Officer Vadas,” Police Chief Douglas Fuchs said.

A Redding resident reported a road rage incident that allegedly occurred on Great Pasture Road on Jan. 17 around 5:05 p.m.

According to police, a pickup truck allegedly cut off the resident and then sped off. No plate was ever obtained for the vehicle, police said.

Didn't Fuchs recently say that home break-ins don't happen much in Redding (so we don't need guns for protection).
