Rearrest of Teen Accused of Loitering Near Complainant

New charges and a much higher bond were brought against a Norwalk High student accused of loitering near the home of a complainant.

with two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault in connection with two separate incidents at Norwalk High School, an 18-year-old student was loitering near the house of one of two victims, police said.

Jaymie Mosby of 6 Brookhill Lane, was charged again Thursday, this time with violating a court order that he stay away from the victims. Police charged him with  second-degree violation of conditions of release and a judge in state Superior Court in Norwalk set his bond at $100,000.

For the earlier charges, Mosby's bond was set at $20,000

Mosby originally was charged after police applied for and received an arrest warrant. The arrest warrant affidavit was sealed. Police said the victims were both Norwalk High School students, and the arrest involved two separate incidents, one two weeks ago and one the week before.

Pot-possession charges after walking past a police officer

The odor of marijuana gave away an 18-year-old man walking with three other friends past a police officer, according to police reports.

Dondre Johnson, 18, of 22 Windsor Pl., was walking past a police officer at Oak Street, near its intersection with Soundview Avenue when the officer detected the controlled substance.

The officer called in backup and when other officers arrived to confront the group, another officer also reported smelling marijuana. Johnson's backpack was searched, and in it police found a small amount of marijuana and rolling paper.

Johnson was charged with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, then released on $250 bond.
