Police: Westporter Retaliates For Getting Ejected From Nightclub

Tossing rock through glass door caught on surveillance video, officer reports.

A Westport man, unhappy about being tossed out of a South Norwalk nightclub Sunday morning, took revenge and got arrested, police said.

Shortly before 1 a.m., Alexander Gomez was escorted out of Club 77, 11 Washington St., by staff for unruly behavior, according to a police officer's report. Gomez allegedly retaliated by picking up a large rock and throwing it through a glass entryway door to the club.

A security employee of the club identified Gomez as the rock thrower, according to the officer, who also reported watching a surveillance video of Gomez's actions before arresting him.
