Police: Suspect Finds What He's Looking For Without GPS

The following information was provided by the Norwalk Police Department. Neither arrests nor charges indicate a conviction, and neither means that a person is guilty of what police allege.

Norwalk police were called to Edlie Avenue early Monday morning after the caller saw a man looking into parked cars.

The caller confronted the man and was held off when the suspect picked up a bottle and wielded it in a threatening manner before retreating on foot. 

One vehicle was reportedly broken into and a GPS was reported missing from it. There were no injuries and the case is under investigation.

Man Angered Over Patriots Super Bowl Loss

A passing motorist observed a man, who appeared to be intoxicated, screaming outside of on Wall Street at 1:27 A.M. Monday morning.

The man allegedly engaged in a physical altercation not only with the driver who called , but also with the driver's vehicle, leading to a hand injury and damage to the vehicle.

When officers attempted to question the suspect he could not answer questions and "was ranting about the Patriots losing the Super Bowl," according to police. Paramedics were dispatched to evaluate the suspect and a warrant has been issued due to his condition at the time of the response. 

Neighbor Disturbed By Not Recieving An Invitation

Officers were called to 9 Harbor Bluff Lane after the resident "lost his temper for not being invited to a neighbor's Super Bowl party," according to police.  

Michael Restifo, 58, of Norwalk allegedly argued with his wife, who made the call to police. He then threw a glass of wine against the wall before kicking household items and left by car. He was later called back for questioning by the police and cooperated with authorities.
