Police: Confirmed Shots Fired -- No Victim, No Suspect
Police received numerous 911 calls Tuesday night about gunshots on Novak Street.
Police recovered six spent shell casings Tuesday night after responding to numerous 911 calls of a gun being fired on Novak Street in South Norwalk.
Officers were called to the block at 8:46 p.m.
A resident told police a man entered the passenger side of a gold Honda and then repeatedly fired a gun out the window. The car then drove away toward Meadow Street, the resident said.

A woman reported hearing six or seven gunshots. She said she then heard a woman screaming and people running.
Another resident reported seeing a man with a large amount of hair pulled back, and wearing a white t-shirt and dark shorts, enter the passenger side of a silver or blue, older model Nissan.

In addition to the shell casings found on Novak Street, police said a Mongoose bicycle was left lying in the middle of the road.
Police said there were no reports of a gunshot victim arriving at local hospitals.
