Police: Partygoer Returns To Slug Host, Steal DVDs

Kicks in door when told to leave.

A city man was arrested Wednesday morning after being accused of returning to a Lexington Avenue home where he earlier attended a party and assaulting the homeowner before stealing DVDs.

Police were dispatched to 8 Lexington Ave. at 1:18 a.m. on a report of a robbery. The complainant told officers he had held a party at his home, and two men who attended returned minutes after they left.

He said they banged on his front door, and when he denied them entry they kicked-in the door and pushed past him. He said he was then punched in the chest before they grabbed as many as eight DVDs and left.
