Norwalk Man Suspects Former Girlfriend Stole His Dog

The following accounts have been provided by the Norwalk Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A resident of 6 South Smith St. told police Monday he believes his former girlfriend stole his pit bull.

He told police he returned home before 5 p.m. to let the dog out and it was gone. The screen door on the side of his house was open, he said, and the door unlocked.

He reported nothing else missing, but said the dog’s leash was on the table, which was not a place it was normally left.
