Police Investigate Possible Shooting at Norwalk's American Legion Hall [Update]
Norwalk police reportedly received reports of a gunshot heard in the parking lot of American Legion Hall from witnesses who were attending a baby shower at the facility.
Norwalk Police have reportedly confirmed that a man was shot at least once Saturday night during a baby shower at the American Legion meeting hall.
According to a report in The Hour of Norwalk, the man, who has not yet been identified,was shot once in the arm and possibly in the abdomen. He was reportedly transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to the report, citing statements made by police, the incident occurred at about 7:48 p.m. in the hall's rear parking lot. Police have not yet released information about the circumstances that led to the shooting.
