A Fairfield Ludlowe High School teacher was arrested Thursday after an investigation into an alleged sexual relationship with a female student.
Glenn Mishuck, 47, of 186 Ellsworth Street, Bridgeport, was charged with 17 counts of second-degree sexual assault on Oct. 31 at approximately 8 a.m.
According to police, detectives received information that there may be an inappropriate relationship between a teacher and a student at Fairfield Ludlowe on Sept. 18. Through the course of an investigation it was revealed that Mishuck did have a sexual relationship with a female student under the age of 18, between July and September 2013, according to police.
Text messages between Mishuck and the student corroborated the abuse and revealed that Mishuck had engaged in at least 17 encounters with the minor, according to police.
Mishuck did not make a $150,000 court-set bond and was transported this morning to Bridgeport Superior Court.
