Police Execute 2009 Arrest Warrant for Texas Woman
El Paso resident wanted for burglarizing South Norwalk clothing store arrested in Norwalk Courthouse, police said.
An El Paso, Texas, woman in Norwalk for a criminal hearing was arrested Monday by warrant for allegedly burglazing a South Norwalk clothing store in 2009.
Officers were waiting for Lacy Johnson at the Norwalk Courthouse, aware she would be attending the hearing.
Police say Johnson conspired with Antonio Thompson on Sept. 23, 2009, to break into the now defunct D&D Fashions store at 12 Monroe St. The pair allegedly busted out a window on the side of the business to gain entry and made off with a large amount of clothing, according to police spokesman Lt. Praveen John.

According to the warrant affidavit, a large cloth bag used to break the window had a blood stain on it, which led detectives to Johnson and Thompson.
In June 2010, Thompson was sentenced to 18 months in prison after being found guilty of third-degree burglary.

Johnson was charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, third-degree criminal mischief, and conspiracy to committ third-degree criminal mischief.
She was held on $20,000 bond and given a court date of July 6.
