Police: Estranged Husband Violates Protective Order

Climbed into wife's home through a guest room window, police said.

Police say a city man violated a protective order Saturday night when he broke into his estranged wife’s home to see their son and daughter.

The woman called 911 at 9:12 p.m. to report her husband had entered the home through the window of a guest bedroom. She said when she confronted him, he cursed at her and pushed a TV set onto the floor.

She said she shouted she was calling the police and he left out the window.

Based on a description of him she provided officers, Escalante was spotted walking on North Taylor Avenue and taken him into custody.
