Police DWI Checkpoint on West Avenue Saturday

Norwalk Police will be stopping vehicles on West Avenue Saturday night, June 22, to detect drunken drivers.

The DWI enforcement location will be between Reed Street and the Interstate 95 overpass, and will be in place from 7 p.m. Saturday until 3 a.m. Sunday.

The enforcement effort is paid for by a state grant that requires the department to notify the public when and where it will be occurring.
