Police Announce Click-It Or Ticket Results

Failure to wear a seatbelt and other violations observed during two-week prorgram.

Following a two-week program looking for motorists not wearing a seatbelt, Norwalk Police have announced these enforcement results:

  • 56 infractions for failing to wear a seatbelt
  • 10 violations for using a handheld cell phone
  • 12 verbal warnings for other traffic offenses
  • 1 arrest for possession of marijuana

There were three seatbelt checkpoints in the city during the program, which ended May 31. The program was paid for by a federal grant.
