Plumbing Company Reports Large Theft of Tools From Van

Burglary discovered in East Norwalk Sunday afternoon, but may have occurred as far back as Friday, police said.

An East Norwalk plumbing company Sunday afternoon reported numerous power tools and other equipment were stolen from a van sometime over the past 48 hours.

Chris Mola of Effective Plumbing at 23 First St. told police he noticed the van had been burglarized at around noon, but because it was parked at the back of the company’s lot, he had not looked at it closely since Friday.

Missing, Mola said, were a DeWalt radial saw, a circular saw, a Pex Gun pipe installation tool, a Sawzall saw, a solder box torch kit, assorted hand tools, a DeWalt screwdriver and a socket set.
