Police Arrest City Man Involved in Pizza Heist

Eighteen-year-old Shaquille Johnson faces larceny and robbery charges stemming from an incident last October.

According to police, Shaquille Johnson, 18, of 133 Monterey Place in Norwalk, was arrested in court on larceny and robbery charges for his alleged involvement in a crime that happened on October 20, 2011.

Police reports indicate that a pizza was ordered to 15 Kossuth Street in Norwalk. When the deliveryman was greeted at the door a second man attacked him from behind. The man in the residence allegedly struck the deliveryman in the face. Both men were said to be wearing dark clothing and one wore a stocking over his face. No weapons were displayed in the robbery.

Later, recovered an empty delivery bag by a van at . Johnson was the second arrest in this case, the first being Michael Johnson, 27, also of Norwalk.

Shaquille Johnson, was charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny and two counts of second-degree robbery. He was held on $50,000 bond.
