A pick-up truck stolen Tuesday morning while its owner was inside a convenience stolen was later found abandoned, according to police.
The owner told police he pumped gas into his Chevrolet 1500 series truck at 7-Eleven, 247 Main St., then walked inside the store to make a purchase. He said when he walked out of the store his truck was gone.
Police made a general broadcast describing the vehicle, and sometime afterwards an officer reported finding the truck unoccupied on the Norwalk-New Canaan town line.
